Prayer is an integral part of the Atlanta HR Prayer Breakfast. The planning team has been praying over all the details of the event, as well as the people who will be attending, for over a year.
Our Prayer Purpose:
To know God better and make Him known by being an example to those around us through our words, actions, and deeds.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we pray that you will minister to each person in attendance at the Atlanta HR Prayer Breakfast. You know their needs. We give you all the glory, honor, and praise for all the results from the breakfast.
Foundational Scripture:
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Jesus Christ so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” (Romans 15:5-7)
Selected Verses:
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by whom we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-6
